Painting on location waterfalls, streams, RIVERS. BUT THE LAST  PAINTING WILL HANG ON MY WALL WITH ALLTHE  OTHERS THAT  HAVE A  STORY.

SO MANY OF  MY TRAVELS  HAVE  BEEN DOCUMENTED BY MY PAINTINGS . THEY  HAVE  STORIES ATTACHED  TO THEM. MOSTLY WHEN AND  WHERE   BUT  A FEW HAVE  STORIES  ATTACHED THAT  ARE  NOT  EVIDENT  BY THE  PAINTING'S APPEARANCE. LOOK AT THIS  ONE. DOWN THE  STREAM ARE  PEOPLE.  AS  I WAS  PAINTING, I REALIZED  THERE  WAS  A  CHILD SCREAMING NOT  WITH HAPPY JOY BUT  FEAR. I  BEGAN TO RUN TOWARD HER. HER  DAD WAS  HOLDING ANOTHER  CHILD AND   TOO FAR  TO HELP THE   CHILD WHO HAD  WANDERED  TOO FAR  FROM HIM TO HELP HER.. SHE  WAS  BEING   PUSHED  BY THE   RUNNING  WATER AND   COULD NOT  RIGHT  HERSELF IN RELATIVELY  SHALLOW  WATER. AS  I REACHER HER, I TRIED  TO COAX  HER  TO WALK  AT  A DIAGONAL.. I WAS  TOO HIGH TO STEP INTO THE  WATER. AS  I LOOKED  FOR  A PLACE TO ENTER  AT A LOWER  LEVEL, A  WOMAN WHO I HAD  SPOKEN TO EARLIER, CAME  RUNNING  WITH A  BETTER  IDEA...SHE  WAS  CARRYING A  BRANCH.  SHE    ALSO PLUNGED  INTO THE  WATER  TO HELP THE  CHILD.. I WAS  ABLE  TO REACH THE  WOMAN AND  FORM A WAY TO GET  BOTH TO THE  BANK, I LEARNED  HER  NAME WAS  MARIE AND  AN ARTIST  AND  PROFESSOR. THE  CHILD 'S  NAME  I AM AFRAID  LEFT  MY MIND AS  SOON AS  I HEARD IT.. QUITE  AN AFTERNOON.
