SUNDAY OCT 3

AHH  COOLER  WEATHER. AND  the  OPAP PAINTERS MET  AT  SHALOM PARK SATURDAY.

WE  ENJOYED  THE  COOL BREEZE AND  SUNSHINE,

I AM PAINTING THIS IN PASTEL. IT IS  A  SECTION OF  SHALOM PARK  THAT  HAS  THESE   VINES  GROWING ON THE  STONE  COLUMNS.  I DID NOT  FINISH BECAUSE  THE  SUN  BEGAN TO REALLY HEAT  UP AND  I WAS  NOT  DRESSED  FOR  WARM WEATHER.

THEN I TRIED  TO PAINT IN THE  SHADE.I WORKED IN WATERCOLOR I WANTED  TO TRY  THIS  IMAGE  FIRST AND  THEN , IF  IT GOLDS   UP AS  BEING  SOMETHING THAT
1. TELLS A  STORY
2. HAS  SOME  SORT OF  BEAUTY.

I LOVE  TREES.. AND  I PAINT THEM OFTEN.

I LOVE THIS THE  WAY THE  PARK ALLOWS THE  TREES TO  DISENTERGRATE  NATURALLY .. ADDING TO THE  SOIL AGAIN..THEREFORE,  A  CYCLE  ..

I THINK THIS  IS  THE  WAY  WE  RETIREES  ARE ,, WE  CAN ADD TO OUR  WORLD  AS  WE   ARE  IN THE  WINTER OF  OUR  LIVES.

OTHER  PAINTINGS  THIS  WEEK:

THESE  ARE  5X7 OIL AND  ACRYLIC  PAINTINGS THAT I PLAN TO SELL  AT THE  DEC. CRAFT  SHOW  AT  ST.JOHN VIANNEY
