TUESDAY

I HAVE  LONG  ADMIRED   THOSE  PAINTERS  WHO CAN PAINT IN GLAZES BECAUSE THEY SEEN TO HAVE  SO MUCH DEPTH  IN THEIR PAINTINGS.. YOU COULD  LOOK AT  THE  PAINTING FOR  DAYS  MONTHS  YEARS  AND   DISCOVER   THINGS  THAT  THE  ARTIST  SAW... SMALL  GLIMPSES  OF  NATURE .. THE  WHOLE  MAKES  IT  SO BEAUTIFUL...BUT  EACH SMALL PART  CONTRIBUTES  TO THE  WHOLE.. AND  SO  FORTH.. HERE IS  THE  ALMOST  FINAL VERSION OF THE   OAK TREE.. I WANT TO SHOW  THE  AGE  AND  STRENGTH OF THIS  OAK TREE .. IN THE  EVENING  OF ITS  LIFE. THE  SUNSET  CONTRIBUTES  TO ITS  BEAUTY AND  SETS THE  MOOD  FOR THE  SCENE.
I WILL  GLAZE   OVER THE  SKY HOLES AND  ADD DEEPER  AREAS IN THE  FOLIAGE.

THE  NEXT  PAINITNG IS  A  WOODED  AREA THAT I AM  TRYING TO DO  SHOWING  A FOGGY AREA  AND  LIGHT  BEHIND THE  TREES. IT IS  A  COPY OF  A  SHIZKIN ..I WILL  ENDEAVOR TO PUT  MY OWN TWIST  TO  IT ... I FIND IT  STRANGE THAT  I AM SO  DRAWN TO LANDSCAPES.. I WAS  GOINGTO BE  DIFFERENT.. AH WELL  THE  LACK OF  DISCIPLINE... THE LACK OF   A  REAL GAME  PLAN  IS  THE  SYMPTOM OF A  RETIRED  PERSON.THESE  ARE  OIL PAINITNGS  30 X 40
