FOR A FEW WEEKS I HAVE BEEN PAINTING BOOKMARKS AND SMALL WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS. I WANT TO SELL THEM AT THE OAKRUN ART SHOW AND SALE. I ENJOY DOING LARGE PAINTINGS AS I HAVE ALREADY STATED. TRYING TO DO THESE SMALL PAINTINGS , IS A GREAT WAY TO "PRACTICE" STUDY, AND JUST HAVE FUN SEENING WHAT I CAN DO WITH COLOR AND DRAWING SKILLS.
WOW I CAN SEE MISTAKES..OR AT LEAST INCOMPLETE AREAS..
THESE APPEARED IN MAGAZINES GIVEN TO ME BY AN ARTIST WHO IS MOVING AWAY FROM OTOW. I WILL SHARE THE MAGAZINES WITH THE THURSDAY ART GROUP .
STILL LIFES ARE GREAT DRAWING PRACTICE TOOLS AND CAN BE A NICE PAINTING TO COMPLIMENT AREAS OF THE HOUSE.
THIS IS ON YUPO. I WISH I COULD BE AS IMPRESSIONISTIC AS RICHARD SCHMID. THE WAY HE LEAVES OUT HTE UNIMPORTAINT DETAILS , IS SUCH A PLEASURE TO SEE. PEONIES,,, DID I SPELL IT CORRECTLY? MY FRIEND FRAN , IN NEW JERSEY, LOVES TO PAINT THESE. THE ONLY ONES I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND IN FLORIDA, ARE IMITATIONS... I BOUGHT AT HOBBY LOBBY.
I DO LIKE REALISTIC ABSTRACTS...
A CHALENGE.
