This past Monday's class was still life drawings. Still life's are hard and not popular . But they offer the best practice for all types of drawing improvement.

Yesterday drawing class . I wanted to introduce the ability to render on gray paper. Here is one student's rendering.

I watercolored a doll I bought at st.George Island.

I VISITED my brother and his daughter in Miami last week. My niece ,Lise Drost is head of University of Miami art and art history department. She had a major showing at their museum of fine art. I am so proud of her.

Before ,I traveled to Miami, I taught watercolor classes at the MASTER THE POSSIBILITY . HERE ARE  some of the students and thier  work.

My next class is a drawing class. I would like to post more pictures from my classes. It seems to be easier to post pictures here.

THIS IS SEADUCTION . THE HOUSE I rented for the month of March to enjoy ST GEORGE ISLAND AND the area around APALACICOLA. i AM WORKING ON OTHER beach homes around the area.

SEADUCTION

 THIS is my third attempt to write in this blog. It is why I am so reluctant to try to keep this going. I am in ST.GEORGE ISLAND AGAIN .
This March, my neighbors along 102nd CIRCLE OF OTOW  ATTEMPTED A BEACH  experience in spite of the weather. Some days were horrible with rain and  wind. But  other days were  perfect for long walks and of  course painting.
This March, I am at the beach home called SEADUCTION. I wanted to beable to convey and  communicate to the owners  of this  wonderful house, HOW MUCH I ENJOYED MY STAY. Whwn the rain and  wind was too much,I was  able to paint still lifes  from the beautiful collection of  shells as  well as  just  enjoy the wonderful porch that  wraps  around this house.

i have  many more paintings to share on this blog. I want to see if i can finally post this with out is all disappearing...AGAIN

I am back in ST.GEORGE ISLAND. Painting on location. This

 year my neighbors chose March even though the weather was not typical beach weather. This porch is part of the beach home CALLED SEDUCTION. I hope the owners will read  my blog after goint to web site so I can express how  wonderful they provided for people staying in their home by the sea.
I am so in love with this place , I am returning next  March.
Thw weather was really challenging but I was able to find many interesting thinngs in the home to put into a still life.Like the many shells they have collected and artfully display.

as  you can see, I also found many subjects in and  around Eastpoint and APALACHICOLA.

Back in ST.GEORGE ISLAND. MARCH HAS BEEN A stormy month as everyone in the country knows.
My neighbors on 102nd CIRCLE IN OTOW DECIDED TO try out luck at this beautiful island and surrounding area. This year, we stayed at the sea home NAMED SEDUCTION. I painted about 20 paintings this month. I could paint 20 more. When the weather was just too much for us old gals, I found beautiful shells to paint pictures of. The wrap around porch allowed me to paint sunrises and sunsets.
I enjoyed this place so much, I will return next March to the same home. I hope the owners can read my words as well as see the paintings I was able to produce around their beautiful house. The paintings in the house reflect art taste that is in conjuction with what I like to paint and view.
